Online Person-Centred Counselling with Attachment-Informed Support

I am an online person-centred counsellor offering a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and accepted. I believe that each person is the expert in their own life, and I work collaboratively with you to explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships and life challenges at your own pace.

My counselling approach is grounded in person-centred therapy and enhanced by attachment-informed psychotherapy. This means that, alongside offering empathy and acceptance, I also recognise how early relationships and life experiences can shape emotional wellbeing, patterns of connection, self-esteem and coping strategies.

This combined approach can help you develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience and healthier relationships with yourself and others.

Attachment-Informed Counselling Online

Attachment-informed counselling explores how past relationships and life experiences may influence how you feel, relate, cope and protect yourself in the present. Early experiences can shape the way we manage emotions, trust others, respond to closeness or conflict, and understand our own needs.

Together, we can gently explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, helping you make sense of your experiences and develop new ways of responding to yourself and others.

Counselling for Anxiety, Grief, Trauma and Low Self-Worth

I have experience supporting adults and parent carers with a wide range of issues, including:

  • anxiety
  • depression
  • bereavement and grief
  • trauma
  • low self-worth
  • domestic abuse
  • coercive or abusive relationships
  • pregnancy loss, stillbirth and infant loss
  • autism, ADHD and Tourette’s
  • caring responsibilities and emotional exhaustion

My work is sensitive, collaborative and tailored to your individual needs. Talking and reflective exploration can help untangle difficult emotions, lighten emotional burdens and bring greater clarity to life’s challenges.

Trauma-Informed Counselling for Domestic Abuse

I have undertaken domestic abuse training and offer sensitive, trauma-informed counselling for people affected by coercive, controlling or abusive relationships.

Domestic abuse can have a profound impact on confidence, identity, emotional safety and relationships. Counselling can offer a supportive space to begin making sense of what has happened, reconnect with yourself and rebuild trust in your own feelings, choices and boundaries.

Pregnancy and Baby Loss Counselling

I have completed training through SANDS in pregnancy and baby loss support. I offer compassionate counselling for individuals and families navigating the grief, shock and complex emotions surrounding pregnancy loss, stillbirth and infant loss.

There is no right way to grieve. Counselling can provide a gentle space to talk openly about your loss, your baby, your hopes, your pain and the emotional impact on you and those close to you.

Counselling for Parent Carers

I am particularly passionate about offering counselling for parent carers and for those who care for others, especially people who often have very little emotional space for themselves.

My work with parent carers has deepened my understanding of the pressure, exhaustion, isolation and emotional demands that can come with caring responsibilities. When life is full of appointments, advocacy, practical demands and emotional labour, it can be easy to lose sight of your own needs.

Counselling for parent carers can provide emotional support for people managing the pressures, exhaustion and isolation that may come with caring responsibilities.

Counselling for Neurodiversity

I also have experience supporting individuals and families affected by neurodiversity, including autism, ADHD and Tourette’s.

Neurodiversity can bring strengths, challenges and unique relational experiences. I understand that families and individuals may face emotional pressure, misunderstanding, overwhelm, masking, advocacy fatigue or difficulties feeling fully seen and accepted.

Counselling can offer space to explore these experiences with compassion and without judgement.

Why Counselling Can Help

We all have a limited emotional capacity, and life continues even during difficult times. It can be easy to forget that self-care is not selfish — and even when we know it matters, the demands of everyday life can become overwhelming.

Online person-centred counselling offers a warm, collaborative and non-judgemental space to explore emotions, relationships and life challenges at your own pace.

Through talking, reflection and gentle exploration, counselling can help you strengthen confidence, deepen self-understanding and support your ability to navigate difficult experiences.

Online and Telephone Counselling

I offer online counselling and telephone counselling, which can work well around busy schedules, caring responsibilities and daily life.

Online and telephone therapy can offer flexibility, privacy and emotional support from a space where you feel comfortable.

I am happy to offer an initial telephone call to answer any questions, talk through what you are looking for, and help you decide whether counselling feels right for you.
