Level 7 Momentum is for experienced counsellors and psychotherapists who already have a good grounding in attachment and are ready to go further with it in their clinical work.

You might be at that stage in your practice where you’re noticing more. You’re thinking differently about what happens between you and your clients, becoming more curious about the patterns that emerge in the relationship and wanting to understand what sits underneath some of the more complex work you’re doing.

For some therapists, Level 7 is also part of their progression towards senior professional recognition, including Senior Accreditation and the highest column of SCoPEd. For others, it’s less about the title and more about wanting to keep developing as a practitioner and feeling ready for the next level of learning.

You’ll need to have completed Level 4 and Level 5 training, or equivalent attachment-based study, and have a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience with more than 450 post-qualification counselling hours.
