As an Attachment Psychotherapist, my focus is on helping clients understand how their attachment patterns have shaped both past and present relationships. Together, we explore how early relational experiences may continue to influence emotional responses, self-beliefs and relational dynamics, and we work gently toward healing early wounds so you can build stronger, more secure connections in the present.

Alongside my general counselling work, I also support people who have experienced care at any stage of life and adult adoptees (16+). I offer a safe, steady and compassionate space to explore the complex emotional landscapes connected to adoption, fostering, kinship care and special guardianship. My approach is informed by both professional expertise and my lived experience as an adoptee and adoptive parent.

I have completed specialised adoption support counselling training and adoption trauma training, enabling me to tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs, history and story. My intention is to create a therapeutic relationship that feels validating, empowering and deeply respectful of the journey you have travelled.

From January 2027, I will be offering online clinical supervision for counsellors and psychotherapists undertaking the L6 Diploma in attachment-based psychotherapy.  As a supervisor-in-training, I understand the challenges and course requirements, enabling you to develop your practice through a deeper understanding of attachment theory.

I have an in-depth understanding of how attachment patterns and relational dynamics can emerge within the therapeutic relationship, alongside attachment dynamics that may present within the supervision process itself.

A supportive and welcoming environment will welcome you and encourage you to reflect and explore uncertainties around client work to help develop greater self-awareness, with feedback and appropriate challenge to help you grow personally and professionally.

Please get in touch if you wish to discuss in more detail how attachment-focused supervision can meet your requirements
